Out of sync with channels: when a marketplace shows a different stock than you have

What the Out of sync filter and the dashboard count mean, why an eBay or Amazon listing can show 0 or one unit less than your stock, and how to fix it.

What does "Out of sync" mean on the Inventory page?

A SKU is out of sync when at least one of its marketplace listings shows a different quantity than Sugibana Flow would send to that marketplace, and the marketplace was checked after your last stock movement. In plain words: we looked at the listing with your current stock in place, and the listing still disagrees.

Examples:

A SKU is not counted when the listing was last checked *before* your latest stock change. That reading is simply old: a push may still be on its way, or the listing has not been re-read yet. It shows up as out of sync only if the next check still disagrees.

Where do I find the SKUs that are out of sync?

Both use exactly the same rule, so the number on the dashboard always matches the list.

Why does my eBay listing show 0 (out of stock) when I have stock?

Because the number on the eBay listing itself changed, not the number Sugibana Flow sent. This can happen when:

Sugibana Flow reads the quantity buyers actually see on each eBay marketplace (Germany, UK, US, Italy, Spain, France, Australia) about every two hours, per listing. If the listing shows less than you have, the automatic stock healer pushes the right quantity back to that listing, then reads it again to confirm. You can also push it yourself: open the SKU, go to the Channels tab and click Sync on that marketplace row.

Why does Amazon show "discoverable" or 0 on one marketplace only?

Amazon keeps a separate listing per marketplace (Germany, UK, Japan, US …). "Discoverable" is Amazon's own word for a listing that exists but cannot be bought right now — usually because its quantity is 0 or the offer is suppressed on that marketplace. When our stock is above 0 and that marketplace shows 0, the SKU is out of sync there, even if every other Amazon marketplace is fine. The Channels tab shows each marketplace on its own row, so you can see which one is affected.

Why is a SKU out of sync by just one unit (listing shows 1, we have 2)?

For eBay the quantity we send is deliberately dampened: we advertise a small number (for example 2 when you have 2–5, 3 when you have 6–14) so one marketplace cannot sell your whole stock before the others update. If the listing shows 1 and the dampened target is 2, a sale on eBay used one unit and the restock push has not landed yet, or it landed and eBay did not apply it. The healer pushes the target again; if the listing still disagrees after that, the SKU stays in the list so you can look at it.

How do I fix a SKU that is out of sync?

  1. Open the SKU and check the Channels tab: each marketplace row shows the quantity on the listing, the quantity we expect, and when it was last checked.
  2. If stock is right in Sugibana Flow, click Sync on the affected row (or Sync all for every channel). The listing is read back a few minutes later.
  3. If the listing still shows the wrong number after a sync, check the listing on the marketplace itself — an ended, suppressed or variation listing cannot take a quantity update, and the row shows the marketplace's own reason.
  4. If your stock in Sugibana Flow is wrong, correct it first (see *Manual stock adjustments*); the channels then follow automatically.

Does "out of sync" mean my stock count is wrong?

No. Your on-hand, reserved and available numbers in Sugibana Flow are the source of truth. "Out of sync" only says that a marketplace listing disagrees with them. Nothing is changed on your side; the correction goes to the marketplace.
