eBay uses OAuth 2.0 Authorization Code flow. You will be redirected to eBay's consent page to authorize Sugibana's marketplace app. Separate credentials are required for each eBay marketplace region (e.g. eBay UK, eBay DE).
Ensure your eBay seller account is active and enrolled on the marketplaces you want to sync. The OAuth flow uses Sugibana's shared marketplace app — no developer account is required.
Decide which eBay region to connect first (e.g. eBay UK EBAY_GB, eBay DE EBAY_DE). Each region connects separately and maintains its own credential row.
eBay OAuth tokens are short-lived. Access tokens expire after 2 hours; they are refreshed automatically. Refresh tokens expire after 18 months (hard expiry) — an AUTH_EXPIRY_WARNING incident fires at 30 days remaining. You must re-authorize before expiry.
On the Sales Channels page, click Connect eBayfor the target marketplace. You will be redirected to eBay's consent page.
Log in with your eBay seller account and grant the requested permissions. Required scopes: sell.inventory, sell.fulfillment, sell.account, and sell.account.readonly.
After granting consent, you are redirected back to Sugibana. The eBay card will show Connected. Click Validate to verify your seller account policies (fulfillment, payment, return) and merchant location are correctly configured.
Enable the Order sync and Stock push toggles. Orders will begin importing in the next 5-minute polling cycle.
eBay requires a working account-deletion webhookbefore the app is approved for production use. Sugibana's shared app must have this endpoint operational. Contact support if your account shows an app approval hold.
Orders are polled every 5 minutes via /sell/fulfillment/v1/order?lastmodifieddate=.... The poll uses the last successful run time to avoid duplicate imports.
eBay status mapping: NOT_STARTED / IN_PROGRESS → Unshipped; FULFILLED → Shipped (reservation converted); CANCELLED payment status → Cancelled (reservation released).
eBay stock push uses the offer-level bulk_update_price_quantity endpoint, not the inventory item level. Always ensure the offer mapping exists for a SKU before enabling stock push.
Run the SKU Alignment Wizard on the eBay connector card to match your existing eBay listings to Sugibana SKUs. This registers the eBay offer mapping required for stock push.
A SKU is READY when it has: a code, title, condition, description; an offer mapping with category and price; and all required category aspects from the Allegro taxonomy. Missing fields are listed in the Readiness panel.
